About

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a bachelor’s in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, and an additional minor in Physical Computing through the IDeATe program. During my time at Carnegie, I enhanced and supplemented my engineering education by seeking art and design courses. In these courses, I was able to learn more about creative design processes and principles utilized by artists and designers.  My hobbies include fashion, mixed media and multimedia art, photography, and songwriting.

I believe that human-centered design and biomimetic design are powerful tools that result in novel, efficient, and user-friendly products. I work best engaging in iterative prototyping processes where I can collect the appropriate user research and be hands-on throughout the design process.
